Dear Ones,
Spring has sprung, heartsick mortals. The hurry of our times dizzies us. Our blunt force cultural trauma wounds are gaping. We are awash in deep dark ends of things.
What fertile grounds! Days are more verdant now.
The horse scene above felt like a dream. I like looking back on life experiences via photo/digital portals. I call the process the art of creative memory.
This sacred memory reminds me of the quote by Saint Francis de Assisi: Such love does the sky now pour, that whenever I stand in a field, I have to wring out the light when I get home.”
Thank the light.
EXPERIMENTS OF IMAGINATION
Thanks for being here in this fluid and dynamic space. I am a total science nerd and this is a social experiment lab.
It is the spring of many discoveries. A cross-pollination of imagination. Science of the spirit.
How is your heart? How is your awareness of the status of your heart?
What is the outer temperature? What is the inner temperature? (I use this strategy when I have attunement trouble or language barriers.)
My social life is different now. Plants are central characters. I choose a vegetal life to return to balance.
Elders in Our Midst:

SANCTUARY OF AWARENESS/FREE PILOT
Thanks for your curiosity and interest in the pilot experiment. With your feedback, I simplified it. Oh, the co-creation. This is what I hope for.
It is free, open to all, evolving, and live.
You will discover 6 units of self-guided, awareness practices using gardening/growing metaphors.
Think of it as a Choose Your Own Healing Adventure experiment.
Invitations of simple practices on various topics.
No paywalls or required contributions or exchanges.
Feedback is a welcome contribution.
HERE for general info on SANCTUARY OF AWARENESS.
HERE for UNIT 1: Observation of Landscape.
Intro video for unit 1:

HEARTMIND SEEDS
Are you surprised my pilot is garden-themed? I am not. Blame it on my roots.
I plant what I like to call heartmind seeds. Here, there, and everywhere.
My imagination grows.
HARVEST OF DISCOVERY
Self-exploration can be terrifying, but it is worth the harvest, lovebugs.
Discovery #1: I fall ill if I do not spend time outside most of the time.
Discovery #2: I fall ill if I am far from the shoreline (and trees).
Discovery #3: I am healthiest and happiest when anchored to present moments in solitude.
So it turns out there is a direct link with health and nature. Don’t believe me?
Nature is the best physician said Hippocrates.

Zombie plants grow from nothingness in my yard right now:

SCARS OF MY HAPPINESS:

I hope sharing what works for me gives you energy, imagination, and inspiration.
I hope it helps you break through all the noise.
I hope it helps you find your peace.
May this be a season of new beginnings.
I will be doing the cycle with you. Thank you for joining me here. Not ready yet? Explore it later. I do not know how long I keep it public. Maybe 3 months.
May All Beings Find Peace.

Watch for invite-only in person pop-ups starting April. (yet another experiment)
My neighbor/new friend gave me samples of incredible gourmet beef jerky. Please support locals for gift ideas here.

5 Things That Heal Me (see video below)
I’m sitting in my car at the library. Weather outside is cool and showery. Inside weather is stormy and tempest tossed. I’m thinking of an experiment to clandestinely start some wildflowers in this rocky, clayey Northern Alabama civil war redux environment. Hopefully some will succeed and Johnny Appleseed style brighten someone’s early summer day.
Count me in!
